Introduction
Far too often, we open a newspaper
and read of the tragedy to strike children, all
because official agencies refused to intervene
and the legal system failed as a result.
A typical response from many agencies
within the system is: "We
can’t intervene in individual cases.",
regardless of the possibility that the child is
being put at risk by the actions of the court.
When I got caught up in this system in Feb '06
I didn’t realise that my children and I
would not only become a defender to the pursuer,
but also a defender to the corrupt abusive Child
Welfare Legal System of Scotland. This web site
is about my experience of contact orders and parental
rights and responsibilities dealt within Scottish
court systems.
I was going to name this website BIC ( Best
Interests Children ), but I believe that Bic is
a leading name for a razor blade. Please be assured
most of the elements of this system cut like a
Bic Razor.
I have tried to compose this site with as little
legal jargon as possible, keeping it in layman’s
terms. Please note however, that a glossary
of terms has been provided just in case.
Barriers and Justice
The world of child welfare courts is completely
foreign to most people. Dealing with this, I faced
many barriers, and inhumane treatment, more so
than any human being should be subjected to in
trying to be a voice for their children.
There are very few websites dedicated to the
battle of the civil courts of child welfare. I
believe two of those are Mothers
for Justice and Fathers
for Justice.
A Child's Voice is for every
child that was forgotten by policy makers, status
seekers, legal professionals, and every other
individual/agency that failed children in the
Scottish Child Welfare Legal System.
How This Site Can
Help
This website will not offer any
legal advice for people going through child welfare
system.
It will, however, give you a insight
into what help is available if you are caught
up in contact orders, or rights & responsibilities
orders.
It will direct you to points of
law that are not being adhered to in the child
welfare legal system.
It will offer unofficial advice
and guidance about what steps you can put in place
to safeguard your rights and those of your child’s.
Finally, it will highlight documented
evidence that raises very serious concerns about
what has been allowed to operate in a system that
is meant to represent the best interests of children.

This website was funded by compensation awarded
by the Law society of Scotland for inadequate
professional service from a previous acting solicitor.
The solicitor was found guilty of 6 of these acts,
failing to act in the best interrests of my child
as he was 'under work pressure'.
Another solicitor is being investigated by the
data protection commissioner. The solicitor was
ordered in to my house by a court, she then forced
unlawful entry, and disclosed confidential information
(to the pursuer) that put my children and I at
risk. I await the outcome of an going investigation.
I also await a written reply from Fife Constabulary
who are investigating why they failed to act when
I was attacked in a local court building, where
I was trying to be a voice for my child.
