My Story ~ One Woman's Voice ~ Page 8
I had asked Gingerbread to try and gather as
much information about these reporters. It took
them five months of research to be able to compose
the following fact sheet by their resident legal
advisor:

In October/November, I composed these questions
and put them forward to my local MSP, to ask what
was the policies/practices and procedures for
court appointed solicitors. The following document
was lodged in parliament:

Back to my own personal case which was another
five or six procedural hearings, at one of these
hearings the pursuer threatened me in court and
no CCTV footage could capture this happening,
as the courts ineffective security measures were
never addressed, as previous correspondence stated
they would be.
(Ironically, at one of these hearings, my acting
solicitor’s purse and mobile phone were
stolen from her hand-bag within the public gallery
where we sat waiting on our procedural case to
be heard in an open court.)
After the treatment from the pursuer on one of
these hearings, where a local solicitor had to
address a procedure hearing, the pursuer threatened
me. This resulted in the pursuer getting an interdict
issued against him, with no power of arrest attached.
Also, I was still dealing with my complaint against
the first acting solicitor, and informed by various
different departments to lodge a separate complaint
about Miss X, the reporter.
My proof case was to be heard in November '06.
The court was aware of the investigations, and
outside agencies that I had asked to investigate
what policies/practices and procedures they did
not have in place for children. In October I lodged
a complaint with the law society with regards
to Reporter X - as per replies shown below.

** Please be assured after I got my reply back
from Parliament about the conduct of these reporters
The Law society’s attitude changed, as stated
by them - "You seem to have done your homework
and are on the case."
